…and so the night sky was set ablaze!

When there is a possibility of an eruption starting, there is generally a sense of cautions intrigue. Volcanic eruptions are a sight to behold like no other - but the destruction that can come with it, is a very real possibility that Icelanders have had to face ever since this volcanic island was settled.

The eruption, that started on the 18th of December 2023 by the town Grindavík and the popular tourist destination Blue Lagoon, has yet to show it’s true potential - all we can do for now is marvel at this majestic display of nature’s sublime power
