What a joy it can be to live on this island. It started with a literal bang - a new eruption and ended in the tranquility of the highlands with a 2 week photography and hiking trips. This summer goes down as one of my favorite, and I will think of it with gratitude and longing.. but, I welcome the autumn with it’s beautiful colors and rainy weather and look forward to facing my next subjects.
