Sindur is a sculpture made by the renowned Icelandic sculptor Einar Jónsson (1874-1954). The sculpture touches on the divine aspects of art. Where the artist is the iron being shaped by the hammer of the divine smith. When the smith hammers the artist into form, the sparks that come flying out are the artist's creations.
